The Sunshine State

This is what mid-February looks like in central Florida:

I thought about posting some pictures of south Florida (West Palm Beach), taken last year about this time by my parents, but honestly, it's depressing to anyone living north of Gainesville.

Anyway, after Sam's run-in with RSV and Jack's seemingly incurable case of cabin fever (as well as my own), we decided the boys needed the fresh air and sunshine that only Florida can provide this time of year.

The scenery may say "Florida," but those arms say "Minnesota."

Picking oranges is a favorite pastime of ours when we're in Florida. One of our many favorite pastimes. I'm looking forward to the day that the boys are big enough to climb in the trees to really pick some fruit.

"Duht, Mommy!" Doesn't every boy love dirt? Mine certainly does.

Shirts make excellent towels. Thank heavens for washing machines.
