It's Star Wars day! May the fourth be with you.
Get it?
Get it?
Anyone?
Anyway, I am so happy that no one in our house is a nerd.
If someone was a nerd, then we'd own Star War onesies, and we certainly don't do that.
What kind of geek does that?!?
We would have no knowledge of the movie franchise and we certainly wouldn't get excited when BabyGap sold "Jedi Master in Training" clothing.
Seriously, who buys that stuff? Especially when the outfit has Tie Fighters and a mock utility belt.
Not that I know what any of that means.
We also wouldn't purchase glow stick swords and tell our son that they are really light sabers.
We wouldn't let him watch the movies and challenge him to a duel using "the force."
We don't do those things.
That's what a nerdy family would do.
And we're really, really cool.
We also wouldn't take pictures while father and son dueled it out.
And we certainly wouldn't blog about it.
No matter how heated the battle.
Because there wouldn't be a battle.
Not in our house. In our house, sci-fi nerdiness is banned.
In our house, we don't even know what "sci-fi" means.
We also wouldn't laugh while one person had to fight with one arm behind his back because in the heat of battle, he "lost" that arm.
What battle?
Why am I talking about something that would never, ever happen in our house?
So anyway, to all you nerds out there, happy Star Wars day!
To everyone else, all you cool people... happy Wednesday.
