Around the House

Here are just a few photos of the goings-on around our house recently.

Jack. I can't believe that he's already 3. He starts 3-year-old kindergarten in the fall. This is another thing I cannot believe. Each day he grows funnier, more insightful, and more, well, "boy."

Sam the Man. He's gotta move. All. The. Time. He loves to be where the action is. He kills me with his blue eyes, his dimples, and his toothless grin. We just went to the pediatrician for a check-up and he weighed in at 21 lbs, 10 oz, and 29.5 inches. He now wears 18 month clothing all the time now. The doctor thinks he may turn out to be taller than Jack.

Bunnies. Or, in this case, a bunny. We love seeing bunnies in our yard, and the other morning, I took a photo of four of them eating near our bedroom window. They are precious, and thankfully, have not yet discovered my garden.

The bunnies aren't the only munchers in our yard. Sam likes to munch on the rosemary and thyme. The only potted plants we have on the patio are edibles (herbs), so we just point his walker away from the non-edible plants (the shrubs) and we're good.

This is what it looks like when we Skype with my in-laws. This is actually a rare shot--look how still Jack is! We try to Skype with them about once every week to week and a half, but it doesn't always work out that way. Skype is such a great invention. I can't imagine living 11 hours away from family without it.
